abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extruded foam having excellent environmental compatibility, biodegradability and beautiful cell shape, and a stable production method thereof. SOLUTION: Formula (1) produced from microorganisms [—O—CHR—CH 2 —CO—] (1) (Here, R is an alkyl group represented by C n H 2n + 1 , where n = 1 or more and 15 or less.) A resin composition (A) having a specific melt viscosity obtained by mixing a copolymer (hereinafter, poly (3-hydroxyalkanoate): abbreviated as P3HA) composed of one or more units represented by 1 part by weight to 15 parts by weight of a volatile foaming agent is added to 100 parts by weight of the resin composition (A), and the mixture is melt-kneaded using an extruder with a special temperature setting to produce a mixture and molded. A method for producing a P3HA resin extruded foam, characterized by extruding into a low pressure region through a die. [Selection figure] None
