titleOfInvention | Olefin polymerization catalyst and olefin polymerization method |
abstract | The present invention provides an olefin polymerization catalyst for producing a polymer having excellent olefin polymerization activity and copolymerizability and a high comonomer content, and an olefin polymerization method using the olefin polymerization catalyst. (A) A catalyst for olefin polymerization comprising a transition metal compound represented by the following general formula (I): In the formula, M represents a transition metal atom in groups 4 to 5 of the periodic table, m represents an integer of 1 to 4, R 1 to R 5 represent a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a hydrocarbon group or the like, and two or more of these may be connected to each other to form a ring, R 6 represents a halogen atom, n is a number that satisfies the valence of M, and X represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, or the like.
