titleOfInvention | Colombidin compounds and antitumor agents |
abstract | The present invention provides a novel compound having cytotoxic activity against human cancer cells and hardly causing harm to normal cells, and an antitumor agent comprising these as active ingredients. The following general formula (I): (Wherein R1 represents a hydrogen atom, a chain or branched hydrocarbon group, a cyclic hydrocarbon group, or an aromatic hydrocarbon group, and R2 to R8 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, a chain or a branched group. A hydrocarbon group, a cyclic hydrocarbon group, an aromatic hydrocarbon group, a halogen atom, a sulfonic acid group, an alkoxy group, a phenoxy group, an alkoxycarbonyl group, a carboxyl group, a benzoyl group, a lower acyl group or a nitrile group) Or a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof. Moreover, it is an antitumor agent which uses the said colombidin compound or its pharmacologically acceptable salt as an active ingredient. [Selection figure] None |
