titleOfInvention | Image forming apparatus, process cartridge, charging member |
abstract | An image forming apparatus capable of forming a high-quality image without uneven charge potential of the image carrier even under a condition where the linear velocity of the image carrier is high. A photoconductor 10 and a charging roller 11 disposed opposite to the photoconductor 10 to charge the photoconductor 10 by applying an AC voltage on which a DC voltage is superimposed are provided, and the charging roller 11 is applied. The impedance per unit area (1 cm 2 ) at the frequency of the alternating voltage is 6 kΩ or more and 80 kΩ or less. As a result, it is possible to form a high-quality image without uneven charging potential of the photoconductor. [Selection] Figure 2 |
