abstract A method for accurately and highly sensitively determining PGs contained in a biological sample such as blood is provided. A biological sample containing prostaglandins is subjected to primary liquid chromatography and separated into an eluate containing prostaglandins and an eluate containing no prostaglandins, and prostaglandins are obtained. To obtain a concentrated prostaglandin eluate, which is subjected to secondary liquid chromatography to isolate and elute prostaglandins. A method for analyzing prostaglandins, comprising quantifying the separated prostaglandins in a tandem mass spectrometer. [Selection figure] None
