abstract | 【Task】 An object of the present invention is to provide a cell culture carrier that improves cell growth in serum-free culture and is free from the risk of contamination with infectious agents. [Solution] It consists of crosslinked poly (meth) acrylic acid (salt) particles (A) and an artificial polypeptide (P) having at least one cell adhesion minimal amino acid sequence (X) in one molecule, with a water retention amount of 2 to 50 g. A cell culture carrier characterized by / g is used. (A) is preferably particles produced by reverse phase suspension polymerization of an aqueous monomer solution containing (meth) acrylic acid and / or an alkali metal salt of (meth) acrylic acid.
