abstract 【Task】 An object of the present invention is to provide a cell culture carrier that improves cell growth in serum-free culture and is free from the risk of contamination with infectious agents. [Solution] It consists of crosslinked poly (meth) acrylic acid (salt) particles (A) and an artificial polypeptide (P) having at least one cell adhesion minimal amino acid sequence (X) in one molecule, with a water retention amount of 2 to 50 g. A cell culture carrier characterized by / g is used. (A) is preferably particles produced by reverse phase suspension polymerization of an aqueous monomer solution containing (meth) acrylic acid and / or an alkali metal salt of (meth) acrylic acid. (P) preferably has at least one auxiliary amino acid sequence (Y) in one molecule of (P). (X) is preferably an Arg Gly Asp sequence. [Selection figure] None
