abstract The present invention provides a method for separating plasma / serum from collected whole blood containing microparticles by a simple operation. Collected whole blood containing microparticles is mixed with a polymer aggregating agent, and the mixture is subjected to a centrifugal treatment to precipitate blood cells and microparticles aggregated by the polymer aggregating agent, thereby recovering upper plasma or serum.
