titleOfInvention | Image forming method |
abstract | The present invention defines the particle size of toner particles, the content of toner fine powder of 5 μm or less, and the shape of toner particles, whereby a toner image having a high toner density can be obtained, and a sufficient image density can be obtained even if the amount of toner used is small. An object of the present invention is to provide an image forming method that secures and has high reproducibility of dot images. An image forming method using an electrostatic charge image bearing member and a developing sleeve, wherein the ten-point average roughness Rz of the surface of the developing sleeve is 3.0 to 5.5 μm, and the toner particles have a volume average. The content of particles having a particle size of 6.2 to 7.8 μm, a volume average particle size of 5.04 μm or less is 2.5 to 10.0% by volume, and the shape factor SF-1 measured by an image analyzer is 115 ≦ SF. -1 ≦ 150 and the shape factor SF-2 is 115 ≦ SF−2 ≦ 145.
