titleOfInvention | Optical compensation film and manufacturing method thereof, polarizing plate, and liquid crystal display device |
abstract | In particular, an optical compensation film that optically compensates for an OCB mode liquid crystal cell and contributes to improvement of contrast and reduction of coloring depending on a viewing angle direction during black display, and manufacture for manufacturing the same with high productivity A polarizing plate using the optical compensation film and a liquid crystal display device are provided. The first optical anisotropic layer has a stretching temperature (T) (° C.) that satisfies the following formula (I) with respect to the glass transition temperature (Tg) (° C.) of the first optical anisotropic layer. It is an optical compensation film obtained by stretching. An embodiment in which the first optically anisotropic layer contains cellulose acetate having an acetylation degree of 2.5 to 2.95 and the stretching temperature is 110 to 160 ° C. is preferable. It is a polarizing plate containing the said optical compensation film. A liquid crystal display device having the polarizing plate. Formula (I) Tg-30 ≦ T ≦ Tg + 30 [Selection figure] None |
