titleOfInvention | Method for examining the type of pathogenic bacteria, enterohemorrhagic Escherichia coli and Legionella |
abstract | Kind Code: A1 To provide a type-specific inspection method based on a polymorphism of a base sequence that can be accumulated as text data as a type-specific inspection method for pathogenic bacteria including EHEC and Legionella. A method for examining the type of pathogenic bacteria. Single nucleotide polymorphisms contained in a plurality of nucleotide sequence regions having high homology with each other present in the gene of the pathogenic bacterium are identified, and genotype classification is determined based on the obtained single nucleotide polymorphism information. The pathogenic bacterium is enterohemorrhagic Escherichia coli, and the highly homologous base sequence region is present in the prophage genome sequence of the Escherichia coli. The pathogenic bacterium is Dionella spp. [Selection figure] None |
