titleOfInvention Reflective dimmer and method for manufacturing the same
abstract The present invention provides a reflective dimmer capable of shifting to a high transmittance state of visible light applicable as a window glass of a vehicle and a high reflectance state having a wide reflection wavelength width. A laminate 4 in which a transparent resin layer 2 and a side chain polymer liquid crystal layer 3 that transmit visible light are alternately laminated is sandwiched between transparent electrodes 5 provided at both ends in the thickness direction. When the laminate 4 is applied with a voltage to the transparent electrode 5, it reflects from a high transmittance state that transmits visible light due to a change in the refractive index of the side chain polymer liquid crystal layer 3. A characteristic of shifting to a high reflectivity state with a wide wavelength width is provided. [Selection] Figure 1
