abstract | An electric deionized water production apparatus capable of preventing weakly electrolytic substances in concentrated water from back-diffusing into a desalting chamber and deteriorating the quality of treated water. Concentration chambers are provided on both sides of a desalting chamber, and the desalination chamber and the concentration chamber are provided between a positive electrode chamber and a negative electrode chamber. A concentrated water circulation system including a concentrated water tank that circulates water is provided with a pH adjusting means for concentrated water that prevents back diffusion of undissociated molecules from the concentration chamber side to the desalting chamber side.
