abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric vibration device which can cope with ultra-miniaturization and ultra-low profile, can easily adjust characteristics and has improved hermetic sealing performance. A surface-mounted crystal resonator includes a piezoelectric diaphragm 1 with a frame, a first case 2 joined below the piezoelectric diaphragm with the frame, and a first case joined above the piezoelectric diaphragm with the frame. 2 case 3. The piezoelectric diaphragm 1 with a frame is formed of a flat AT-cut quartz diaphragm, and a frame 11 is formed on the quartz diaphragm 10 and the outer periphery thereof with a predetermined interval 10e. A second diaphragm (metal brazing material) S2 is used to join the piezoelectric diaphragm with frame and the second case, and the metal film 14 of the frame body and the metal film of the second case are joined to the second joint. It joins by material (metal brazing material) S2. As a result, the frame-attached piezoelectric diaphragm and the second case are joined, and hermetic sealing is performed. The second bonding material S2 is made of a material having a melting point lower than that of the first bonding material S1. [Selection] Figure 1
