abstract |
An object of the present invention is to provide a carrier and a developer that are less likely to cause carrier adhesion, have good granularity, have little background contamination, and have excellent durability. It is another object of the present invention to provide an image forming method and a process cartridge using the developer. A carrier includes magnetic core material particles and a coating resin layer that covers the surface of the core material particles, and has a weight average particle size of 22 μm or more and 32 μm or less, and has a weight average particle size with respect to the number average particle size. The content of the particles having a ratio of 1.00 or more and 1.20 or less, the particle size of 20 μm or less is 7% by weight or less, and the content of the particles having a particle size of 36 μm or less is 90% by weight or more and 100% by weight. The particle density of the core material particles is 85% or more and 100% or less of the true density of the core material particles. [Selection figure] None |
