abstract |
In accordance with the present invention, a multilayer coating film formation in which a very small amount of a pretreatment film and an electrodeposition coating film are sequentially formed as compared with a pretreatment process and a cationic electrodeposition coating process with a conventional chemical conversion solution and an electrodeposition coating. By providing the method, the present invention provides a novel base rust prevention method that is highly economical and environmentally safe by exhibiting excellent coating adhesion and corrosion resistance equivalent to or better than those of conventional processes. According to the present invention, (A) an untreated metal base material is immersed in an aqueous solution containing a rare earth metal nitrate, and a treated film having a deposition amount of 1 to 100 mg / m 2 made of a rare earth metal compound is formed by cathodic electrolysis. And (B) a method of cathodic electrodeposition coating of an electrodeposition coating containing an organic acid or inorganic acid salt of a rare earth metal. [Selection figure] None |
