abstract |
[PROBLEMS] A catalyst having not only a unique catalytic activity but also excellent thermal stability, particularly a hydrogen peroxide decomposition catalyst, which has a catalytic ability to decompose into water and oxygen while suppressing the generation of free radicals, and more heat. Provided are a polynuclear complex and a polymer thereof suitable as a catalyst having excellent stability. [1] A polynuclear complex containing one or more ligands L having the following requirements (i), (ii) and (iii) in the molecule and a plurality of metal atoms. (i) It has a group having a polymerizable reactive multiple bond and / or a ring-opening polymerizable ring. (ii) It has 5 or more coordination atoms coordinated with a metal atom. (iii) The ligand L is soluble in the solvent. [2] A (co) polymer obtained by (co) polymerizing the polynuclear complex of the above [1]. [3] A redox catalyst comprising the above [1] or [2].
