abstract [PROBLEMS] To reduce the number of manufacturing steps and the manufacturing cost in a method for manufacturing an iron component-containing artificial zeolite. The method for producing an artificial zeolite containing an iron component according to the present invention is a method for producing artificial zeolite by mixing waste products such as coal ash or industrial by-products of industrial products with an alkaline aqueous solution such as caustic soda and heating them. In this method, an artificial zeolite containing an iron component is obtained by adding an iron component-containing substance in at least one of the mixing step and the heating reaction step.
