abstract An over-rotation prevention device that can solve a problem that may occur at the time of a misshift is provided. When changing the gear position of a manual multi-stage transmission 24, a gate stopper is extended to a gear position where over-rotation can occur in order to prevent over-rotation of the power train due to the change of the gear position. Thus, over-rotation prevention control is performed to mechanically prevent shifting to the gear position. When this over-rotation prevention control is started, vehicle speed control means for operating the braking device to control the vehicle speed is performed. That is, when the clutch is disengaged during the overspeed prevention control, the engine control unit 11 outputs the vehicle speed control signal 16 to the ABS control unit 15 to operate the brake unit 32 and control the vehicle speed.
