Forming a second mold forming film serving as a liquid flow path wall using a coating-type inorganic material on the substrate on which the first mold forming film is formed; and (c) the second mold forming film. A liquid discharge head is manufactured by a method including a step of forming a liquid discharge port at a position above the liquid discharge energy generating element and (d) a step of eluting the first mold forming film.
