abstract [PROBLEMS] To improve the convenience by allowing music to be played at all times so as to obtain a sense of unity with the user's movement without giving the user any unnaturalness such as discomfort. An apparatus for playing back a video is provided. After starting reproduction of music data through an audio signal output processing unit 31 or the like, a motion information analysis circuit 23 detects a user's motion tempo based on a detection output from a motion information sensor 24. When the difference between the detected operation tempo of the user and the tempo of the music data being reproduced is not within the predetermined range, the difference between the user's operation tempo is determined by the search means such as the music reproduction data generation device 22 The controller 10 changes the music data to be reproduced so that the music data of the internal tempo is retrieved and the retrieved music data is reproduced.
