The present invention provides a novel compound having an inhibitory action on acylcoenzyme A cholesterol acyltransferase. A glycoside compound of 4-hydroxyphenethyl alcohol or 3,4-dihydroxyphenethyl alcohol having a specific substituent. Specific examples include osmanzside B, isosillingalide 3′-α-L-rhamnopyranoside, and osmanzside D. These can be obtained by extracting a plant body of Yunnan bitter tea or Sichuan bitter tea with a polar solvent. [Selection figure] None |
