abstract | [PROBLEMS] To provide a method for producing a pyridobenzoxazine derivative, which can obtain a pyridobenzoxazine derivative, which is an intermediate for producing levofloxacin, simply and in high yield. A compound represented by the formula (1) is reacted in an organic solvent in the presence of an alkali metal carbonate, and an alkali hydroxide aqueous solution is added to the reaction in the same reaction system to react. The pyridobenzoxazine derivative represented by this is obtained.
