abstract The present invention provides a paper cup that has excellent light shielding properties and excellent sealing properties that prevent leakage of contents due to missing seals. From a bottom member using a body member using a body member laminate including at least a paper base material, an aluminum foil layer, and an innermost layer, and a bottom member laminate comprising at least a paper base material and an innermost layer. In the paper cup, the innermost layer of the body member laminate and the bottom member laminate is a resin layer containing an ethylene-α olefin copolymer polymerized using a single site catalyst. According to this configuration, the paper cup is excellent in light-shielding properties and excellent in sealing properties in which contents are prevented from leaking due to missing seals.
