titleOfInvention | Thermal transfer image-receiving sheet and method for producing the same |
abstract | A thermal transfer image receiving sheet capable of forming a recording image with high sensitivity, high image quality, little change in transfer performance over time, and small change in transfer image over time, and a method for producing the same. A heat-sensitive transfer image-receiving sheet in which at least one receptor layer containing at least one polymer latex is coated on a water-resistant support, wherein the polymer latex is substantially contained in the receptor layer. A thermal transfer image-receiving sheet which is present in a discontinuous state without film formation and satisfies at least one of the following 1) and 2) and a method for producing the same. 1) The receiving layer contains a water-soluble polymer, and the content of the water-soluble polymer (solid content) is 0.2% by mass to 30% by mass of the solid content of all the polymers present in the receiving layer. 2) A heat insulating layer having at least one heat insulating layer containing at least one hollow polymer, the heat insulating layer being water-coated.
