The present invention relates to a golf ball in which the outermost cover layer is coated on the core surface or the surface of a sphere whose core is covered with the cover layer, and the outermost cover layer is one or more thermoplastic resins. Alternatively, an inorganic composite material in which a thermosetting resin is a main material and glass flakes are coated with a metal or a metal oxide is contained in the main material resin. [Effect] The golf ball of the present invention has a novel and impactful aesthetic feature in the appearance of the ball and is rich in fashion. It also has excellent scratch resistance.
