Provided is a rubber composition for clinch in which the dependence of raw materials on petroleum is reduced and rubber strength and wear resistance are improved. SOLUTION: To 100 parts by weight of a rubber component containing 30 to 90% by weight of natural rubber and 10 to 70% by weight of epoxidized natural rubber, 15 to 90 parts by weight of silica is contained. The following general formula (X) n -Si-Y (4-n) (In the formula, X represents an ethoxy group or a methoxy group, and Y represents a phenyl group or an alkyl group.
