Provided are a novel enzyme that phosphorylates position 22 of ecdysteroid and a gene thereof, and a method for easily and inexpensively producing a phosphate conjugate of ecdysteroid using the enzyme. thing. [Solution] From ovary of silkworm cocoons, ecdysteroid-22-phosphorylation enzyme is isolated and purified by column chromatography, and ecdysteroid is actually phosphorylated using the enzyme. It was clarified that steroid-22-phosphate can be synthesized. Furthermore, the gene sequence (base sequence of cDNA) encoding the enzyme and the entire amino acid sequence of the protein were determined. The enzyme of the present invention was used for pest control by inactivating ecdysone and other molting hormones, and various useful ecdysteroid phosphate conjugates were produced using the enzyme of the present invention. In addition to using phosphate conjugates as research reagents, they can be used for the development of pharmaceuticals and cosmetics. [Selection] Figure 3A |
