titleOfInvention High pressure discharge lamp and lighting device
abstract 【Task】 A high-pressure discharge lamp having a translucent airtight container using translucent polycrystalline ceramics having a linear transmissivity of 20% or more, and suppressing a decrease in linear transmissivity due to the occurrence of white turbidity, and an illumination device using the same provide. [Solution] The high-pressure discharge lamp includes a surrounding portion 1a that is made of translucent polycrystalline ceramics and surrounds the discharge space 1c, and a pair of small-diameter cylindrical portions 1b that extend from both ends of the surrounding portion in the tube axis direction. The linear transmittance of the main part in the surrounding part exceeds 20%, and a protrusion 1d whose height is 10 to 80% with respect to the maximum inner diameter of the surrounding part is formed on the inner surface of the lower half part in the horizontal lighting of the surrounding part. A translucent airtight container 1, a pair of electrodes 2 and 2, and an ionization medium enclosed in the translucent airtight container. [Selection] FIG.
