PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost and low methanol crossover fuel cell electrolyte membrane, a membrane electrode assembly using the same, and a fuel cell. The electrolyte membrane of the present invention is obtained by polymerizing an aromatic vinyl compound monomer, a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic vinyl compound monomer, and a divinyl compound monomer, and sulfonating the resulting electrolyte membrane copolymer to thereby prepare an electrolyte precursor. Improves the permeability of sulfuric acid to the polymer, promotes the sulfonation reaction, and produces a highly uniform electrolyte membrane. By introducing this basic nitrogen-containing heterocyclic structure, methanol cross-linking can be performed in the produced electrolyte membrane. Overload can be reduced. [Selection] Figure 1 |
