titleOfInvention | Method for producing methacrylic resin cast plate |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a methacrylic resin cast plate with reduced foaming during polymerization. SOLUTION: Production of a methacrylic resin cast plate in which a raw material mainly composed of a methacrylic monomer or a monomer mixture is cast-polymerized using syrup obtained by polymerizing a part of the raw material in the presence of a radical polymerization initiator. In the method, the methacrylic monomer is methyl methacrylate alone, the monomer mixture contains 60% by mass or more of methyl methacrylate, and the methyl methacrylate includes those produced by the ACH method. A methacrylic monomer or a methacrylic monomer mixture having a specific molecular weight nitrogen compound contained in the methyl methacrylate of 10 ppm or less and a dissolved oxygen concentration of 2 ppm or less is a radical polymerization initiator. In the presence of, cast polymerization using syrup partially polymerized so that the polymer content is in a specific range A method for producing a methacrylic resin cast board, which is characterized.
