abstract | 【Task】 The object was to provide means for improving the barrier function of the skin itself. [Solution] Skin barrier function can be easily evaluated by culturing epidermal keratinocytes on a support having micropores in a liquid medium under low calcium conditions until confluent, and then culturing in a liquid medium under high calcium conditions. It was found that an epidermis keratinocyte layer membrane was obtained, and it was found that the barrier function of the epidermis keratinocyte layer membrane was improved by applying a rhizome extract of the genus Ranunculaceae sp. A skin external preparation that easily improves the barrier function of the skin itself was obtained by incorporating the product into the external preparation for skin. [Selection figure] None |
