abstract |
【Task】 In a liquid crystal display using a polarizing plate used as a conventional polarizer protective film, there is a problem that the contrast value cannot be made sufficiently large, light leakage occurs during black display, or luminance becomes insufficient during white display. On the other hand, an object of the present invention is to obtain a polarizing plate having a small contrast when used as a polarizer protective film with low depolarization properties. [Solution] A film satisfying (i) to (iv). (I) There is at least one place and direction where the contrast value shown by the following formula 1 is 5500 or more. Contrast value = (maximum luminance when polarizing plates are parallel) / (minimum luminance when polarizing plates are orthogonal) (1) (Ii) Total light transmittance is 90% or more (iii) Haze is 1.5% or less (iv) Glass transition temperature is 120 ° C or more [Selection] None |
