abstract | In a gas barrier laminated film in which a polyalcohol resin, a polycarboxylic acid resin and a metal compound are used in combination and the gas barrier property is enhanced by utilizing ester bond and metal ion crosslinking by heat treatment, a considerable time at high temperature is required. This heat treatment makes it difficult to avoid problems such as deterioration and deformation of the film base, heat deterioration and coloration of the gas barrier resin, and large energy consumption, so that such problems can be solved and a film material rich in gas barrier properties can be produced. Develop industrially superior manufacturing methods. A high-humidity treatment tank in which an aqueous solution containing a polyvalent metal compound is sprayed on a laminated film obtained by applying a polycarboxylic acid resin for forming a gas barrier layer to a film substrate and drying it, without performing heat treatment. A gas barrier laminate film is produced by infiltrating the metal compound aqueous solution with, washing with a washing liquid if necessary, and then drying to crosslink the polycarboxylic acid resin with metal ions.
