titleOfInvention Room temperature NOx adsorbent
abstract To provide a the NO x adsorption material that can adsorb a sufficient NO x even at room temperature of about room temperature. A support comprising a specific oxide containing an oxide of at least one element selected from Co, Fe, Cu, Ce and Mn, and Cu, Co, Ag and Pd supported on the specific oxide. And at least one kind of supported metal. The specific oxide easily changes in valence, and has a characteristic of absorbing and releasing oxygen. In addition, the supported metal has an oxidation activity, has a strong NO adsorption force, and enters a peroxidized state by oxygen supplied from the specific oxide. Therefore, even at room temperature of about room temperature, NO is adsorbed on the supported metal, and even if there is no oxygen in the atmosphere, it is supplied from oxygen supplied from a specific oxide or from a supported metal in a peroxidized state. It is easily oxidized by oxygen and becomes NO 2 . The produced NO 2 is efficiently adsorbed on the specific oxide. [Selection] Figure 1
