abstract 【Task】 Provided is a method for removing unpleasant odor components of collagen peptides by a simple method, and a food or drink using the collagen peptides obtained thereby. [Solution] By heating the collagen peptide with a small amount of ethanol, methanethiol and dimethyl disulfide, which are components of unpleasant odor, can be reduced. By using the collagen peptide obtained by this treatment, a collagen peptide with less unpleasant odor is contained. Food and drink can be obtained. [Selection figure] None
