abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a purified luciferase capable of detecting ATP to be detected with sufficiently high accuracy, and an ATP detection reagent containing such a purified luciferase, with a sufficiently small amount of ATP attached. SOLUTION: A luciferase to which ATP is attached coexists with a polyphosphate compound in a liquid, thereby releasing ATP in the liquid to obtain an intermediate luciferase, and removing the released ATP from the liquid. Or a separation / separation step of separating the intermediate luciferase and the liquid to obtain a purified luciferase, and a method for producing a purified luciferase. [Selection figure] None
