abstract |
An analog circuit and a digital circuit are mixedly mounted on the same substrate while suppressing an increase in chip area. An analog circuit is formed on a semiconductor substrate, an insulating film having a recess is formed on the analog circuit, and the amorphous semiconductor layer is insulated so that the recess is buried. Amorphous semiconductor layer 33 is melt-crystallized by irradiating laser to amorphous semiconductor layer 33 formed on film 31, and substantially single crystal semiconductor grains 34 are formed around recess 32. A digital circuit is formed in the single crystal semiconductor grain 34. [Selection] Figure 2 |
