titleOfInvention | Image forming toner, developer, toner containing container, process cartridge, image forming apparatus, and image forming method |
abstract | In a toner used in an electrophotographic image forming method, good transferability and cleaning properties can be maintained for a long period of time, filming is prevented from occurring, image unevenness does not fluctuate, and a developer is stirred during use. Provided is a toner having excellent stability in which fluidity and chargeability do not change over a long period of time without burying external additives. SOLUTION: A hydrophobic fine powder is externally added to base particles composed of at least a colorant and a binder resin, and a specific surface area St of toner particles after external addition of the hydrophobic fine powder is expressed by the following formula. The main constituent is an image forming toner characterized by being satisfied. Formula: Sm + 0.7Σ (Sn × Xn) <St <Sm + 0.95Σ (Sn × Xn) (In the formula, Sm is the specific surface area of the base particles, Sn is the specific surface area of the hydrophobic fine powder, Xn is the addition rate (mass%) of the hydrophobic fine powder to the base particles, and the subscript n is the number of types of external additives. Is shown.) [Selection] Figure 6 |
