titleOfInvention | Resin for electrophotographic functional parts |
abstract | An electrophotographic apparatus functional component can have amino groups and carboxyl groups on the outermost surface, and a sufficient amount of negative charge can be applied to a toner by adding a small amount within a range that does not impair properties such as hardness and elasticity of a base resin. Provided is a resin for an electrophotographic apparatus functional component containing a positively chargeable resin that imparts good properties and can form a good image in the electrophotographic apparatus functional component of the molded product. In a resin for an electrophotographic apparatus functional part containing a positive charge control resin containing an amino group and a carboxyl group, the surface of the electrophotographic apparatus functional part is measured with a time-of-flight secondary ion mass spectrometer (TOF-SIMS). When measured, the ratio of the maximum ionic strength derived from amino groups to the total ionic strength up to molecular weight 1850 is 0.005 or more, and the ratio A of the maximum ionic strength derived from carboxyl groups to the total ionic strength up to molecular weight 1850 A Is 5 PPM or more.
