Disclosed is a transdermal absorption regulator capable of increasing the transdermal absorption rate of polyphenols and capable of adjusting the transdermal absorption efficiency. The present invention relates to a polyphenol comprising a dihydric alcohol having 4 to 8 carbon atoms and at least one alcohol selected from trihydric alcohols having 3 to 6 carbon atoms and tetrahydric alcohols.
