abstract |
A tire is configured to compensate for a camber angle of a wheel and improve the performance of the tire. A pneumatic tire includes a carcass and a tread. The carcass has at least one carcass reinforcing ply and an opposing bead portion. Each bead portion has a bead core and a bead apex. The bead apex of each bead portion has the same radial height (HA) measured from the bead reference line. The tire has a bead reinforcement layer containing 0.5 to 30 weight percent rubber short carbon fibers and has a beet reinforcement layer disposed only on one bead portion, the bead reinforcement layer being a carcass reinforcement ply.
