titleOfInvention | Toner binder and toner for electrophotography |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner binder excellent in low-temperature fixability, hot offset resistance and image quality stability during running as toner performance. SOLUTION: A styrene (co) polymer (a) having a weight average molecular weight (Mw) of 400,000 to 2,000,000 and a ratio (Mw / Mn) to a number average molecular weight (Mn) of 4 or more is 20 to 70% by weight, consisting of a resin (A) containing 30 to 80% by weight of a styrene (co) polymer (b) having a weight average molecular weight (Mw) of 3000 to 30,000, and a methanol-soluble component in (A) An electrophotographic toner binder in which (c) is 1.0% by weight or less and the ratio of the styrenic monomer in (c) is 80 to 100% by weight. [Selection figure] None |
