titleOfInvention | Foamable biodegradable copolyester composition |
abstract | The present invention provides a microbial degradable polyester suitable for foaming, having high melt strength and melt viscosity. The melt has a high melt viscosity and melt strength at the time of extrusion and has the following repeating unit: [-{(OR 1 -O) a- (CO-R 2 -CO) b }-{(OR 3 -O) c- (CO-Ar-CO) d }-] (BA) x Aliphatic-aromatic branched random copolyesters suitable for foaming containing (wherein the mol% of the acid component and the diol component are each 100 mol%, the aliphatic acid residue —CO—R 2 —CO— is , B is present in the range of 30 to 95%, and the aromatic acid residue -CO-Ar-CO- is present in the range of 5 to 70% as the amount of d, and the diol residue -O- R 1 —O— and —O—R 3 —O— are present in an amount of 0 to 100 mol% as the amount of a and 100 to 0 mol% as the amount of c, respectively. Disclosed is a foamed article of aliphatic-aromatic branched random copolyester, present in an amount of 0.01 to 10% by weight based on the total weight of groups, diol residues and branching agent.
