Impact resistant polyureaurethane and method of preparation |
abstract |
A polyureaurethane having high impact resistance is provided. The present invention relates to a polyether-containing polyureaurethane. The polyureaurethane may include a prepolymer, including polyisocyanate and polyether-containing polyol materials. This prepolymer can react with an amine-containing curing agent to produce the polyureaurethane of the present invention. In one embodiment, the polyether-containing polyureaurethane is high when tested as a planar lens (having a maximum center thickness of 2.2 mm) that is at least partially cured and has a hard coating on both sides. It may have an impact resistance of at least 148 feet per second as defined by impact testing. [Selection figure] None |
