abstract 【Task】 To provide a composition capable of ameliorating and / or preventing skin damage caused by ultraviolet irradiation, and a composition having an aspect in which the composition can be effectively used industrially. [Solution] Provided is a composition comprising thioctic acid and / or chitin hydrolyzate as an active ingredient, wherein the thioctic acid is thioctic acid, a derivative of thioctic acid, a lipid coating thereof, and the lipid coating is further hydrophilic. A double coating coated with a substance is desirable, and the chitin hydrolyzate is desirably N-acetyl-D-glucosamine or N-acetylchitooligosaccharide. Moreover, oral compositions, such as food-drinks for improving and / or preventing the skin disorder | damage | failure by ultraviolet irradiation containing these active ingredients, are provided.
