abstract |
An ultraviolet curable resin layer curing method and an ultraviolet irradiation device for efficiently curing an ultraviolet curable resin layer applied on a sheet and obtaining a sheet with an ultraviolet curable resin layer excellent in flatness are provided. A sheet F coated with an ultraviolet curable resin layer is wound around a back roll 13, and the wound portion is irradiated with ultraviolet rays while being purged with a nitrogen gas from a nitrogen gas purge box 1 installed near the back roll surface and cured. In the method of curing the ultraviolet curable resin layer, the shape of the edge of the side plate of the nitrogen gas purge box 1 is formed with an arc shape or a non-arc shape with respect to the center of the back roll 13.
