titleOfInvention Quantitative determination of midkine in blood
abstract A method for accurately measuring midkine in blood is provided. [Solution] After collecting blood (whole blood) in a vacuum blood collection tube, the supernatant (serum) obtained by coagulating the collected blood is reacted with a reagent that specifically reacts with midkine. When the midkine value in blood is used with the strength of the reactant as an index, a plastic vacuum blood collection tube not containing silica powder is used as the vacuum blood collection tube. After collecting blood in an anticoagulant-containing vacuum blood collection tube, the plasma obtained by separating and removing blood cell components is reacted with a reagent that specifically reacts with midkine, and the strength of the reaction product is indicated. When the blood midkine value is used, a plastic blood collection tube containing an anticoagulant other than heparin is used as the vacuum blood collection tube. [Selection figure] None.
