titleOfInvention | Coated paper for printing |
abstract | [PROBLEMS] To achieve a high ash yield during papermaking even with a high blending of fillers, and with little reduction in paper strength despite the high blending of fillers and the increase in paper bulk, and blisters and paper dust during offset printing. To provide a coated paper for printing that is less likely to generate and excellent in running properties, and further excellent in printing surface quality with little show-through. SOLUTION: In a coated paper for printing in which a base paper is provided with a coating layer containing a pigment and an adhesive, inorganic particles having an average particle size of 0.1 to 30 μm are obtained using a cationic compound and starch other than the cationic compound. A coated paper for printing, wherein the base paper contains a surface-treated filler, and the base paper has a filler content of 5 to 40 solids by weight. [Selection figure] None |
