titleOfInvention | Reversible thermosensitive recording material |
abstract | An object of the present invention is to form and erase an image having a clear contrast, to maintain a stable image over time in an environment of daily life, to stably form and erase repeatedly, It is an object of the present invention to provide a reversible thermosensitive recording material that has less printing defects and poor conveyance in an image forming apparatus, has excellent visibility of formed images, and does not adversely affect a wireless IC or the like. A reversible thermosensitive recording material having a reversible thermosensitive recording layer provided on a support, wherein the reversible thermosensitive recording material comprises one or more layers containing an ionic liquid. It is preferable that an ionic liquid is contained in the outermost layer on one or both surfaces, and it is more preferable that the outermost layer is formed of an ultraviolet curable resin. Further, when the reversible thermosensitive recording layer contains a normally colorless or light-colored dye precursor and a reversible developer that causes a reversible color change in the dye precursor by heating, further preferable results can be obtained.
