abstract | There is provided a developing roller which does not contaminate a photosensitive drum or deteriorates toner, and further has a small compression set. A shaft, an elastic layer formed on the outer periphery of the shaft, an intermediate coating layer formed on the outer peripheral surface of the elastic layer, and an outer peripheral surface of the intermediate coating layer. In the developing roller 1 provided with the surface covering layer 5, the elastic covering layer 3 is made of urethane foam obtained by mechanically foaming a urethane raw material, and the intermediate covering layer 4 is formed from a mixed solution containing a polymer and an aqueous solvent. A urethane resin obtained by crosslinking a lactone-modified polyol with polyisocyanate is applied to the surface coating layer 5. [Selection] Figure 1 |
